disgruntled guild and other events

Trivial? Maybe. I had a pow wow session with some disgruntled guild members last night. As an officer, not everything is easier. Dealing with unhappy or distressed raiders is part of my job. Especially in a bigger top end guild. As for sparked this discussion, obviously some guild “drama”. Which I promptly cleared up as soon as possible. After talking with these guys for about two hours trying to calm them down, they definitely had some interesting things to say and some silly things. I do feel I can take away much more as a leader of my guild as a person. It’s a monotonous subject to some (video games and community leadership), though it has always interested me. Hopefully Tuesday raid will be a bit brighter now that they know at least one of the officers is listening to what the people have to say.

Today I am going to see Nadia downtown for some coffee’s and try to clear up some other smaller issues with some of my art. Not to mention I do feel I’ve fallen into that whole ‘pit’ of ignoring people again. I tend to just shut people out when I feel I don’t need their opinions. I need to work on that.

The new Otos. For people who followed my old gamer section of my blog, I rerolled from DK to Resto Shammy. Got a new dagger for my ele set. Even though I’m a healer full time, I love to fool around and DPS on this off spec. Yes, we did kill Deathwing this week.
